This Coyote and Crow adventure is the second part of the Blackhollow Trilogy. It follows Miiginya and his war band as they seek to avenge his uncle, Elder Kochoov, and uncover the truth behind his death. The adventure begins with the party heading to the community of Ninigaz, located deep within the lands of the Keetoowagi Federation. Their goal is to infiltrate an industrial Gats facility to find more evidence of the horrific experimentation that created the "purplish, puss-filled monstrosities" known as the Kayanza.
The player characters must break into the heavily-guarded Gats facility, which is monitored by Kanikahag mercenaries (The Eels) and security drones. A contact of Elder Kastiki will assist the party by temporarily knocking out the video surveillance and power, giving them a short window to explore the building. Inside the facility, the party will search for answers across three levels: the ground floor with security desks and loading docks; the second floor with printing and packaging areas for the Kayanza's control devices; and the third floor with administrative offices.
The climax of the adventure takes place in the lower-level laboratories, where immense printers and chemical vats are located. Here, the party will find human-sized pods containing unconscious people and the Kayanza. They will confront a cloaked figure, a Hiihangaziwag, who is responsible for the experiments. The Hiihangaziwag can summon shadowy creatures called Mazozoog from "The Black" to attack the party. The party must fight to escape and bring the evidence they have gathered back to the Sutyata to stop the Keetoowagi from creating an army of Kayanza.
