The adventure begins as the party arrives at the Tick Tock Arcade, a bustling hangout that has been warped into a nightmarish version of itself by Heckna. As they enter, Heckna's henchmen—Revelers, Rubes, and Thralls—lock the doors and herd them toward the back of the arcade. The players are forced to enter a series of classic arcade games that have been brought to life. The first game is "Frogger's Fury," a chaotic scene of speeding cars and a treacherous river filled with alligators and trash-covered turtles. The players must navigate this deadly obstacle course to safety, earning a "Game Reward Token" if they succeed.
Next, the party enters "Space Invaders' Smash," a pixelated world where menacing Space Invaders descend from the sky. They must use scavenged weapons from the Frogger game to fight off the relentless alien onslaught and destroy the Mother Ship before it breaks through their shields. The third challenge is "Pac-Man's Pummel," a labyrinthine maze patrolled by an enraged Pac-Man and his ghosts. Players must collect video wafers and power-ups while avoiding the relentless pursuers, as a single touch from a ghost or a Reveler means instant defeat.
The final trial is a high-stakes, high-speed chase in "Light Cycle Lashes," a neon-drenched grid where the players must outmaneuver Heckna's digitized minions and be the last one standing. The adventure culminates when Heckna appears, offering the players powerful magical items and a chance to join him as his Revelers. However, before they can make a choice, an old phone booth appears and two "party dudes," Bill and Ted, fall out. They reveal that Heckna has captured their friends and family and offers the party a chance to stop him for good by traveling to a summer camp, setting the stage for the next adventure.
